CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 YOU DO NOT NEED UPPER BODY STRENGTH TO ATTEND CLASS, UPPER BODY STRENGTH IS BUILT BY ATTENDING!!

Intro to Pole - 60 min

If you have NEVER taken a pole dance class start here. In this class you will learn the fundamentals of pole dance technique & strength training. From walking around the pole, to basic spins, basic climbs and floor work you will walk away with all you need to join our beginner level classes.


Recommendations: Do not apply lotion before class. Leave your jewelry at home. Wear workout shorts and comfortable top


*Recommend 4-6 intro to Pole*

Pole Level 1 - 60 min

It’s time to take what you’ve learned in Intro to Pole classes and bring it to the next level. This class was created to teach you everything you need to know in order to progress to Level 2 classes. You won’t only have a great time but you will get an amazing cardio and strength training full body workout. Learn how to spin and move smoothly around the pole and build your strength to prepare you for inversions.


*This class requires that you have mastered Intro to Pole 


POLE 1 REQUIREMENTS:


  • Cross ankle fireman,
  • Dip turn/360/step around
  • Back hook spin
  • Lady sit
  • At least 1 Static Intro Class
  • Basic climbs
  • Instructor approval 

Pole Conditioning Strength Class - 60 min

Get strong and fit to make those pole moves easier! We’ll work out your core, arms and legs while using the pole as our fitness aid. Whether you want to make inverts easier or just want some muscle definition, this class is for you. All fitness levels welcome. 

Open Level - 60 min

This class is open to Level 1 and up and is for ladies who are prepping for climbing and learning inversions. Spinny Pole may also be incorporated into this class. 

Open Pole Play - 60 min

This is a great opportunity to practice what you’ve learned! This is not a class. A teacher will be present but will not be available for spotting or teaching. Want to improve your skills to move on to the next level? Are you learning new moves but no time to practice them? Or do you just want to find you freestyle?


Open Studio is time we are offer to give you the opportunity to improve on and master your pole and aerial skills. The Pole & Aerial Apparatus will be open for you and other students to use so 

please feel free to take advantage of this uninstructed practice session!

Intro to Lyra - 60 min

Aerial hoop (aka Lyra) is a circular apparatus suspended from a single point.


Have you ever dreamed of flying? Introduction to Lyra is the next best thing under a roof. Class starts with flexibility and conditioning exercises that will help you feel confident in the air.  We recommend that you take this class 3-4 times or have instructor approval to take beginner classes.


**Please wear clothing that covers the backs of their knees and torso for all aerial classes, other than pole. This will help avoiding burns caused by friction with the silks or hoop.

Open Level Lyra - 60 min

This Lyra/Aerial Hoop is an all level class. We have three hoops and our class sizes are small so you will never have more than 3 people to a hoop. The instructor will give moves and combos based on the individual’s level and you will be assisted getting in and out of the hoop when needed. 

Intermediate Lyra - 60 min

Build strength, increase flexibility and learn to flip, turn, roll, pose, and transition between positions. Classes begin with a warm up and conditioning and them move into choreographed combinations.


*This class requires that you have mastered Intro to Lyra.


INTERMEDIATE LYRA REQUIREMENTS:


  • Trapeze mount
  • Instructor approval 

Dynamic Lyra Tricks: Level 1.5 & Up - 60 min

Explore Lyra tricks in constant motion!


In this class, you will learn basic drops, rolls and transitions.


Appropriate for level 1.5 and above, or must have instructor permission


*Prerequisite: Intro to Lyra, Lyra Level 1 and Cleared for Lyra 1.5*

Intro to Silks - 60 min

If you have never taken a silks class this is the class for you. Class starts with flexibility and conditioning exercises that will help you feel comfortable in the air. You will work on basic skills and will learn how to create “locks” around your body with the fabric.  We recommend that you take this class 3-4 times or have instructor approval to take beginner classes.


**We encourage students to wear clothing that covers the backs of their knees and torso for all aerial classes, other than pole. This will help avoiding burns caused by friction with the fabric or hoop.

Open Levels Silks - 60 min

This Class is open to any Silks Student.  


ALL Levels Welcome!


This class will utilize silks to teach various skills and tricks. Start with basic climbing and progress into various positions, inversions, drops and choreographed combinations.

Silks 1&2 (beginner/intermediate) - 60 min

*Prerequisite: 4-6 Introduction to Silks classes before taking this class* 


Begin to build stamina, strength and stability by working with the silk. Level 1 teaches fundamental skills and tricks. Start with basic climbing and progress into various positions, inversions, drops and choreographed combinations.

Silks Level 2 - 60 min

Start with basic climbing and progress into various positions, inversions, drops and choreographed combinations. For Intermediate classes, students must be able to climb, creating foot locks and have the strength to invert at the top of the fabric.


Instructor will assign skills/tricks for each appropriate level based on students individual capacity.

Aerial Hammock - 60 min

Hammock uses the same fabric as silks, but with a loop at the bottom. It is an excellent precursor to silks and will help improve flexibility, strength and gain an overall body workout.


Open to All Levels.

Aerial Dance - 60 min

In Aerial Dance, students learn both ground and aerial based choreography using double point hammocks. No previous dance experience is necessary, and movements and sequences will be catered to yogis, dancers and aerialists of all levels. With changing and unique choreography, students will leave class feel seductive, fierce and strong. 

Flexibility (All Levels) - 60 min

In this class you will learn, the proper and safe technique to enhance your flexibility and take it to the next level, using active and static stretches. Whether this is your first time working on your splits and backbends, or you are a professional contortionist, this class is for you. 

Private Classes- 60 min

Liquid Motion - 60 min

A method and style of movement that teaches seamless and natural movement quality by applying basic dance theory, fitness, conditioning exercises, and sensual movement exploration.
